Clean lines and modern touches created a refined outdoor space for this West Town penthouse rooftop. An open synthetic grass area was used for summertime lounging in the sun, while Pitch’s signature built-in seating created a comfortable place for the client to enjoy his cigars. The lounge area also featured a retractable pergola and a fire table, both of which helped to extend the Chicago rooftop season a bit longer.

The versatile outdoor bar also served as a space for a casual cocktail or elegant dinner. Tall, slender plantings served as privacy walls while simultaneously adding texture and movement to breezy Chicago evenings.
